Obtained Guitar-Diploma in 1986 conducted by guitar teacher Linda Calsolaro. He graduated also in Musical Didactics (1994), Composition (2001), Orchestra’s Conducting (2002), Mandolin (2005). He attended guitar international master-classes by Oscar Ghiglia, Alirio Diaz, Ruggero Chiesa, Betho Davezac, in Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena (Italy), and in Conservatorio Superior de Musica in Sevilla (Spain), and for the Direction with Jorma Panula (orchestra) and Bruno Zagni (choir). He won the following guitar-competitions: Mondovì (1982), “M. Donia” in Messina (1986), finalist in “M. Giuliani” International Competition, first winner at the International Festival “Giovani Promesse” in Taranto, III prize in the Duo-category at the “R. Curci” Competition, I prize in the First European International Competition in Istanbul.

He recorded CDs for various record labels: Turin FELMAY, Japanese RESPECT RECORDS, italian from Puglia DIGRESSIONE MUSIC. The last work is dedicated to "Concerti Grossi" by Charles Avison based on Sonatas for keyboard by Domenico Scarlatti, published by Digressione Music.

He is instrumentalist and arranger, conductor as well. Collaborated as Guest-Director with the I.C.O. Symphony Orchestra of the Metropolitan City of Bari in two first performances of pieces of contemporary music. He collaborates as a conductor with the "Neapolitan Mandolin Academy" which he followed for tours in London, Paris, Stockholm, and in concerts in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples. In 2001-2007 he directed the plectrum orchestra of the "N. Piccinni" Conservatory of Bari, a plectrum laboratory inside the Conservatory, which over the years formed generations of mandolinists and guitarists.

One of his works as a composer won the second prize in the "José Fernández Rojas 2016" international plural composition competition organized by the ConTastes association at the Conservatorio Profesional de Musica in Logroño (Spain).

He also conducts the guitar orchestra of the International Guitar Festival of Mottola, course of "Chitarre Insieme"from 2017. In the same Mottola-2017edition he was director of a concert "Homage to Roland Dyens" as first European performance of R. Dyens of Ravel's Bolero transcription for ensemble 16 guitars, all components of orchestra were Masters of the Festival .

He has been a guitar teacher in middle schools since 1988. Actually he is guitar teacher Musical Lyceum "Cirillo" in Bari.
